Lufthansa's Web Check-in allows you to check-in starting at 6pm the night before your flight departs. The requirements for using Web Check-in are following: - Web Check-in starting at 6pm the night before your flight is scheduled to depart. - You have an etix for a flight on Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, British Midland and LOT (not departing from a Finnish, Scandinavian or Swiss airport). - You have an etix for a flight on SAS or Swiss that departs from Germany. - You are not a special needs passenger. Lufthansa recommends you arrive at the airport 2 hours before your flight's scheduled departure.

Children up to 2 years old (24 months), are not required to have their own seat. Contact KLM for information about payment for your child while travelling domestically. A child under 2 years old (24 months) is usually charged a discounted fare plus taxes, even if the infant will be on the lap of another passenger for the flight.
Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a purse or briefcase. All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you and adhere to the following requirements:

Passengers traveling to/from U.S. or Canada, from Mexico to Europe, from Brazil to Europe or the Middle East and from Ghana to Nigeria:
- Baggage Allowance: 2 pieces
- Maximum Dimensions: 62 linear inches/157 cm
- Maximum Weight for Economy Class passengers: 50 lb/23 kg
- Maximum Weight for First and Business Class passengers: 70 lb/32 kg
Passengers traveling to/from all other destinations:
- Baggage Allowance: 2 pieces
- Maximum Weight for Economy Class passengers: 44 lb/20 kg
- Maximum Weight for Business Class passengers: 66 lb/30 kg
- Maximum Weight for First Class passengers: 70 lb/32 kg
Fee for any bag weighing 51-70 lb: $25. Bags weighing more than 70 lb will not be accepted.
