If your flight requires pre-screening, Canadian North check-in counters will be closed 30 minutes prior to departure. This does not apply to flights departing from Cambridge Bay, Rankin Inlet, Norman Wells, Inuvik and Hay River. Check-in at least one hour before your flight is scheduled to depart. Be sure that your carry on and checked baggage does not exceed the allowable maximums (size, weight, or number). If you have any special needs, notify Canadian North at least 24 hours prior to departure.

Children up to 2 years old (24 months), are not required to have their own seat. You can also choose to purchase a seat for your infant as long as you have the proper child restraint device. While traveling domestically a child under 2 years old (24 months) can travel for free as long as the infant will be on the lap of another passenger for the flight.
Carry-On Baggage - no more than two pieces which when combined do not exceed 23cm x 41cm x 57cm. Canadian North allows 2 pieces of checked luggage per customer as a free baggage allowance. Maximum weight of those 2 pieces – 70 lbs (32 kg) each; maximum size of those 2 pieces – 62” (158 cm) each.If any single piece of luggage is over 100 lbs (45 kg) or if its size is over 115” (292 cm), it will not be accepted for carriage as checked baggage, please make arrangements to ship through your local Canadian North cargo office by calling 1-800-663-2223.
