Alaska Airlines' Web Check-in allows you to check-in up to 24 hours before your flight departs. Use Web Check-in 1-24 hours before your flight is scheduled to depart. Use Web Check-in if you have an electronic ticket. Use Web Check-in if you are not a special needs passenger. Make sure you leave enough time at the airport to get through security, check your bags etc.
If you have bags to check, you will be able to print your boarding pass at home but will have to drop your bags at an Alaska Airlines/Horizon Air baggage drop or Check-in counter at the airport before the cut-off time. When you use Web Check-in you can change or select your seat.
If you plan to check in at the airport, Alaska Airlines recommends passengers to arrive at the airport 2 hours before their flight is scheduled to depart. You required to be at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes prior to your flight's departure.

Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Maximum dimensions of carry-on luggage: 24in x 17in x 10in/61cm x 17cm x 10cm. Each passenger is allowed 2 checked bags with maximum dimensions 62 linear inches/157 cm and maximum weight 50 lb/23 kg. Fee for any bag weighing 51-70 lb: $25. Fee for any bag weighing 70-100 lb: $50. Fee for any bag between 63-80 in: $50. Fee for any bag between 80-115 in: $75. Fee for additional bags 1-3: $50 each. Fee for additional bags 4-6: $75 each. Fee for additional bags 7 and up: $150 each.
