Air France's Online Check-in allows you to check in up to 24 hours before your flight departs. For this purpose:
- Check-in 30 minutes-24 hours before your flight is scheduled to depart.
- Itinerary does not include a connecting flight.
- Itinerary does not include travel to/from the U.S. or Canada.
- Itinerary does not include travel to/from Algeria, Singapore, Tahiti or Tel Aviv.
- You are not a special needs passenger.
Make sure you leave enough time at the airport to get through security. Online Check-in only allows you to enter a seat preference, you can’t change/select your seat.You can use online check-in if you have carry-on bags only or if you are departing from one of the following airports Amsterdam, Berlin-Tegel, Bologna, Bordeaux, Budapest, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Geneva, Hamburg, Hanover, London-Heathrow, Lisbon, London-City, Manchester, Milan-Linate, Milan-Milpensa, Montpellier, Oporto, Oslo, Paris CDG2F Schengen, Stuttgart, Turin, Venice, Vienna, Warsaw, Zurich.

Children up to 2 years old (24 months) are not required to have their own seat. Lap children can only be held by passengers who are at least 18 years of age.You can also choose to purchase a seat for your infant as long as you have the proper child restraint device. While traveling domestically a child under 2 years old (24 months) can travel for free as long as the infant will be on the lap of another passenger for the flight. While traveling internationally a child under 2 years old (24 months) is usually charged 10% of an adult fare plus taxes, even if the infant will be on the lap of another passenger for the flight.
Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a purse or briefcase with maximum dimensions of carry-on luggage 45 linear inches, maximum weight of carry-on luggage 26 lb/12 kg.
Passengers traveling in Tempo Class to all destinations (except Africa):
- Baggage Allowance: 2 pieces of checked baggage
- Maximum Dimensions of 1st Bag: 62 linear inches/157 cm
- Maximum Dimensions of 2nd Bag: 55 linear inches/140 cm
- Maximum Weight of each piece: 50 lb/23 kg
Passengers traveling in l'Espace Affaires or l'Espace Premiere to all destinations (except Africa):
- Baggage Allowance: 2 pieces of checked baggage
- Maximum Dimensions of 1st Bag: 62 linear inches/157 cm
- Maximum Dimensions of 2nd Bag: 55 linear inches/140 cm
- Maximum Weight of each piece: 70 lb/32 kg
Flying Blue members are allowed extra weight depending on your level of status:
- Silver Members: additional 11 lb/5 kg
- Gold Members: additional 22 lb/10 kg
- Platinum Members: additional 42 lb/ 20 kg
